Post Elephant Room......Platt v Laurie....V caseyleejones
I accidentally stumbled across these vids.....

In the one below, Compassion Amplifies the Gospel vs. Compassion Distorts the Gospel

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l6ebzabFPIc

Never heard of the Elephant Room. But worth exploring ministers in a civil way debating.

Interesting for sure. I think there is agreement enough for both. Of course we must use common sense in expressing compassion and at the same time (trying to be careful here) not cramming the gospel down someone's throat.

I have to go with every minister following HIS leading in each 'calling.' I do believe in compassion to the unbeliever, but I also feel strongly that we show compassion on our brothers and sisters who are less blessed (probably a better term) but that is the one that comes to mind.

But there must be some plain common sense in physical compassion and spiritual compassion. (I know that may not make any sense??) Embarassed Embarassed Embarassed

But it is an interesting discussion. Idea

It's good to see Christian brothers agree to disagree civilly. We could take a page from their book. To the topic at hand, I lean more to Laurie's position than Platt. Acts Enthusiast
