What are the chances that Barry Clardy goes to the EC within the next two assemblies? If he does, is there a clear successor? or will could Tim Hill end up there like Mark Williams went to North Clevleland after being GO?

Seems like going to Cleveland is a step down, once your tiime is up, then you might end up anywhere or nowwhere. Of course, you might make enough money that it won't matter. Acts-dicted

Seems like going to Cleveland is a step down.....

If I remember right our officials (ADMIN) at one time returned to pastoring if they were not too old. I could be wrong... Shocked I don't remember it being considered a step down.... Confused

You are referring to a different time. I don't know why a young pastor of a large church would want to step down to become an administrator. I am not saying it is a step-down, but it is not the promotion that it used to be considered. And, very few ever go back to pastoring now. Most churches are not interested in someone who had spent several years out of the pastorate in an administrative capacity.
