This is the result of our slow moving system and the extension of term limits. While there are good reasons to extend tenure, you shut out younger guys. There are several guys that I have been voting for on the Council of 18 for 10 years. They were in their thirties, but are now pushing 50 or more. There are tremendous leaders like Scott Sheppard, David Smith, Joe Dobbins, Mark Leonhart, and many others who have been cutting edge young leaders that are now aging out before they ever make it on. It is really a shame. |

| Don’t worry. 1 or 2 EC members will go to world missions and world mission will move to the EC. Lucky if one fresh name moves in. Musical chairs is a fun game in the COG. It is designed more and more that way. Learn to live with in. Nothing can be done. People in power have the power to stay in power forever it seems. |
