Post Jack Ford passed on to his reward Cojak
I knew Jack only in passing. Waving and saying hello in years past at Camp Meetings.
My wife reads hometown Obits 'religiously'. Jack was attending 'Revival Tabernacle' in Stanley, NC. It is a very active Independent Church and has never left the early Pentecostal attitudes and practices of worship services. I even attended once years ago for a 'flash back'. LOL
Jack still preached in the COG when the opportunity arose. But attended the Independent Work. His funeral was there.

Nothing against Jack, he was a very dedicated COG preacher in his prime and until retirement.

I have heard nothing but good about my brother.

From what I hear that is a no-no for retired COG ministers. Is there a ruling on that within our denomination?

Just asking?

As I understand the Minutes you are to pay your tithes where your membership is. But we have many Church of God minister attending other churches. But to keep credentials, there is at last check, a tithing requirement.

Post sheepdogandy
I have invited several retired Church of God ministers and none of them to my knowledge have experienced any trouble from denomination officials.

They all have done an outstanding job.
