Youth Directors on the Move |
AdamJ |
It seems an odd time for some many youth directors to be moving. Don’t this normally happen at Assembly time? Some looks like a demotion that don’t make good sense. What state wants a YD for less that a year? |

Doesn't seem odd at all. It would not be feasible to leave that position open for a year. Therefore, this set off a chain of moves. This happened because the youth director of Western North Carolina's wife took a job at Lee. He made the choice to leave the position of youth director in August for her to begin her new position. He is looking to pastor in the Cleveland/Chattanooga area.
Rob Taylor from Ohio went to North Carolina. Matthew Propes in South Georgia moved to Ohio. Justin Sharpe in Michigan went to South Georgia. Max Reyes is moving from South Georgia to become the YD in Michigan.
It does not happen like this very often. In fact, the last time that I remember, not that it hasn't happened more recently than this, was when Bishop J David Stephens left South Georgia in the early 80's in the middle of a term. That is when Bishop David Griffis came to S Georgia. I can't remember how many moves that created.
