Post Housing Cojak
I'm always interested in the housing market. I remember a few years ago housing prices escalated as banks loaned on houses that to me clearly were not worth the appraisal. I was building some at the time. within 16-20 months the bottom fell out, foreclosures everywhere. Areas like the Villages never stopped building. But most areas nearly stopped. In my wife's hometown (Belmont NC) now building everywhere. Housing prices climbing as I remember them doing before the last collapse. Cities love the increases because taxes are raised according to value. My taxes have increased 25% in 4 years.

Is your area building? do you feel uncomfortable with the housing market? I have never been able to understand the national economy, what interest rates do etc, but I hear we will have a drop in interest on homes soon. Any ideas?

Confused
