Former Charisma Mag senior editor LeClaire under attack by Jezebel's daughter - please pray (V) |
Dave Dorsey |
Jennifer LeClaire, who for many years was the senior editor of Charisma Magazine, reports she is being personally targeted and attacked by the spirit of Jezebel's daughter, Athaliah.
Saints, please pray. This is a serious time.

I agree, Jennifer is seriously disturbed. Just read her articles in Charisma. |

She is 2 Thessalonians 2:11-12 in action... it is honestly quite scary! |

What's even scarier are all the comments of affirmation on FB corresponding with the video. There were a few denouncing but the majority were in the Amen Corner. |

I will be the first to admit some of the Pentecostal/charismatic movement qualify as fruits and nuts. But, that being said, I question why is it that the first response of so-called Pentecostal people on this forum is to mock anything remotely involved with spiritual warfare, spiritual gifts, prophecy and the manifestations of the Holy Spirit. Just wondering. What if she really is under attack? But dont worry, you will never be because there is no such thing as demonic attacks, right? Right. |

Only in your mind is that the case.

Deny, Deflect, Distance, Deride -- the 4 D's of defending the indefensible. I would wager that every minister on this forum holds to a biblical demonology that affirms the working of demon spirits in the earth today. To attempt to say otherwise is not only irrelevant to this video, it's a deflection to avoid discussing the topic at hand.
If you'll be the first to say there are fruits and nuts in the charismatic movement, here's a great opportunity to do it. Charisma Mag is a huge mainstay in today's extreme charismatic movement and was cited in another thread in defense of Kenneth Copeland (though I don't think the poster was defending Copeland, just posting it for thoughts).
People ought to know what kind of theology this theological mainstay affirms -- and if you care about articulating biblical understandings of spiritual warfare, spiritual gifts, prophecy, and the moving of the Holy Spirit then you ought to be the one posting this stuff so the fakes and charlatans are called out, because they're using pieces of biblical truth to draw people away from a true experience with God.

Did you watch the video, brotherjames?
If so, what were your thoughts? |

There is a sarcastic spirit that has been on this board for years.
It's very difficult to have serious discussions at times.
Your heart as a pastor thinks in terms of reaching out to this hurting person, mine as well. But I don't know all the dynamics involved & if she is suffering from such attacks then it's going to take a lot of fasting & prayer for her to be delivered.
Most important she's going to want to be set free more than anything. _________________ "Empty nest syndrome is for the birds!"

Are you talking about Jennifer LeClaire?
Because she's not looking to be set free. She's a big name in the NAR/hypercharismatic world. Has written several books and speaks regularly at conferences, or at least used to. Friend of Dr. Michael Brown as well, who has oft defended her. Has been on his radio program "Line of Fire" more than a few times.
She's not a troubled woman hoping to be set free, Dean. She's a prominent name in NAR/hypercharismatic/Bethel-style circles. My stars, she was the senior editor of Charisma Magazine for eight years. |

By the way, Dean, if you'd watched the video (it's really easy to tell when you guys pop off without even taking a few minutes to watch and consider what you're commenting about), you'd know she's not experiencing a demonic attack that she's desperately hoping to be free from.
She's trying to make money, Dean. She's selling books and access to an online course where she teaches about all these various demons and how to overcome them. She's talking about this experience she supposedly had and wants to sell a book and get you to attend a course so you can learn the tools she apparently used to identify the spirits that were attacking her and overcome them.
You can pick up her latest book here: https://smile.amazon.com/Spiritual-Warriors-Guide-Defeating-Spirits/dp/076844294X/ref=sr_1_1
And you can pay to attend her online spiritual warfare courses here: https://www.schoolofthespirit.tv
The "School of Spiritual Warfare" course is just $397.00. |

From Amazon.com:
Quote: | While many spiritual warriors are familiar with principalities and powers like Jezebel and witchcraft, few have heard of marine demons. Also called “water spirits,†these powers wreak havoc in places near bodies of water. From Python, to Leviathan, to Triton to Rahab and beyond, spiritual warriors are feeling the effects of water spirits but often don’t know how to combat these evil forces.
Bestselling author Jennifer LeClaire provides a revolutionary guidebook on how to prophetically recognize these spirits and engage in victorious warfare against them. This book will identify each water spirit, equipping believers to overcome them. |
I'm grateful for your pastoral heart, Dean. I just wish it extended to wanting to protect Christ's church from obvious false teachers selling products for shameful gain. |

Yes, I listened to her video.
My heart does extend to wanting to protect Christ's church from obvious false teachers selling products for shameful gain.
You said she claimed to be targeted & under attack by the spirit of athaliah ...if it's true then she simply needs prayer for this attack.
Maybe she's deluded or needs a sincere deliverance but that would be better than making a spectacle out of her.
She sells books & offers these so called 'courses' which most mature Christians won't buy into but that doesn't mean its scary as you put it.
And it has nothing to do with 2 Thess. 2. This chapter is dealing with the time frame of the tribulation when the antichrist will exalt himself to be worshipped.
