I have heard ministers refer to themselves as a "man of God" |

...or they wanted to be a MOG from an early age.
Since I don't fill that role in church but work a secular job as many do, are we precluded from referring to ourselves as MOG....
or woman of God for that matter..... |

I my opinion we are all children of God, whether Man or woman of God, which for some reason I have always 'accepted' as a 'minister of God'. I have no Bible for that, just my up bringing. My daddy always said, "son take care of the man of God and He will take care of you. Dad had a 3rd grade education, so his statement to me was from the heart, not one of education.
That said, I have seen many people, in and out of the ministry that I would consider a man or woman of God. BUT they would not refer to themselves as such. _________________ Some facts but mostly just my opinion!
