Where would I go? |
p5harri |
Just some random rumblings from my studying tonight, to break from the political stuff.
John 6:68
That verse has stuck with me for many many years. I've been a believer for almost 5 decades now and it still strikes home.
As I look back over my life and see where there were times I wasn't following as close as I should have been. I've partied and ran around doing a lot of stuff I should not have been doing that surely displeased God.
However, as I think back and think about this scripture, I can't think of one time I thought of every turning back and giving up. It's as if my heart and soul have always been my compass pointing back toward true North.
Much like Peter said: Where would we go? There's nothing back there I really want to go back to.
I'm very thankful for a God with grace and patience. _________________ We are beating the bushes for mice and the lions are tearing us apart. |

The words of Christ before it really give it clarity |

In paraphrase, "Are you going to go away, too?" _________________ Doctor of Bovinamodulation |
