Not quite as soon as I’d hoped, but I do thank God she has finally met the Judge of all the earth, and that her wicked rule is over.

Post ...well..... caseyleejones
It is clear this is a RBG thread. Did her works, gifts and talents promote the kingdom even just a little or were they contrary to the kingdom and the things of God?

David and the nation still mourned for Saul.

Prov. 24:17-20 says,

17" Do not rejoice when your enemy falls,
And do not let your heart be glad when he stumbles;
18
Lest the Lord see it, and [a]it displease Him,
And He turn away His wrath from him.

19
Do not fret because of evildoers,
Nor be envious of the wicked;
20
For there will be no prospect for the evil man;
The lamp of the wicked will be put out."

Hebrews 13 also tells us all authority comes from God.

I don't think we should pray for their destruction, but we can pray that God would remove their evil influence and authority.

Unfortunately, it seems as though in death she has become a saint to many. And some are following the Jewish tradition that says if you die on Rosh Hashanah, you are a person of great righteousness.

It is always sad if someone dies unprepared to meet the Lord.

I was certainly no fan of RGB and like everyone else, I have no idea as to the condition of her heart when she breathed her last breath here on earth. I do believe her decisions as a Justice, particularly when it comes to abortion rights, are something she alone will answer to God for.

Like Carolyn said, it is sad when someone dies and are unprepared to meet the Lord. It truly is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Post I have found that the older a person is... Aaron Scott
the less time you have to pray for them to die.

For instance, if a person is 108-years-old, I typically wouldn't have to pray over 5 years, say, for them to die.

Works every time.
