For years I have been in awe of this Scripture Jn. 14:12 Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.

Though at least one former poster in this forum claimed to have done greater works (in number and in magnitude; i.e., greater miracles than Jesus did) in his ministry, not even the Lordâ€™s apostles testified to having performed greater miracles, in number or in kind, to those Jesus performed in the gospels.

I believe Jesus was using hyperbole, as He often did, to drive home a point. The point in John 14:12 seems to be that the believer shall have the same power of the Holy Spirit as Jesus had, and that that all things are possible to him that believeth.
