Is it just me? It grieves me so much to read someone's obituary and see they were of the ______________ faith....where is their relationship with God? How have we as a church failed??? God help us to help folks have more than just of the faith - help us to make disciples!!!!

| That is just how obituaries tend to express it. People who knew the decedent well will know the genuineness of his faith, or the falseness of it. I do think it’s a shame how so many seem to think someone was right with God and went to Heaven because they had a funeral service in a church house. |

Imma tell you one thing, No one is going to publish an obit that says: O ld john Q Dude was a great guy, but he is in Hell now because he was a complete fraud.
Ain't you ever noticed when a man is dead, he is a good guy. I have said a thousand times in NC, JFK was a (&*&*) before he was assassinated, the next day even the strongest anti JFK guy said, "He wasn't all that bad."
