Noah - evangelist - preacher of righteousness...0 converts. |
caseyleejones |
I was listening to Jimmy Evans describe the culture of Noah's day versus ours.
That generation seemed hostile towards God......same as this.
I remember growing up that even those unsaved not in church people at least had a reverence for God, the gospel, church...etc....not the case anymore.
I had to take a look at the church we attend and frankly, we have not had too many....maybe close to zero converts that have stayed committed.
One church in our area is growing leaps and bounds, but it is mainly transfer growth.
Now, looking at other countries, there seems to be a different story.
So, are you experiencing church growth with new converts? |

I have seen nothing but transfers from other churches, and those from several denominations. _________________ “Hell will be filled with people that didn’t cuss, didn’t drink, and may even have been baptized. Why? Because none of those things makes someone a Christian.”

Been at Ickesburg almost 5 years |
Randy Johnson |
only a small handful of visitors, none who have stayed.
We are down to 5 people, all of one extended family, and two of them are facing serious health issues.
I think everyone is having attendance issues. _________________ Randy Johnson, Pastor

Just an observation |
Isa 58:12 |
It seems like G-d is not in your messages. In the Book of Acts G-d brought the people in. Seems like u need yo go back & see what their Message was. If this helps it's the same as Y'shua's Message
Teach ur People about G-d & His Ways, u will never go wrong. Everybody knows what Messiah has done, everybody knows G-d is love & He loves
them, everybody knows about tithing....
But they don't know G-d.......or His Ways.....
Because, as the days of Noah was, so will it be when Y'shua comes back. Only a small Remnant made it out, for Righteousness sake. Noah was a preacher of Righteousness 2 Peter 2:5...Torah is Righteousness Deut 6:25
I think you need to repent and change a message to G-d's

Where do you attend worship services?
Please let us know so we can see first hand the success you speak of. _________________ Charles A. Hutchins

I must say I agree with SD here. I like to see results from ideas myself. I pastored two churches that I was just a care taker. It was personally rewarding because I loved the few that were there. Then I pastored on that grew. The one that grew was a new plant. The only thing different was the last one was new, I was the same. _________________ Some facts but mostly just my opinion!

Randy, most small churches are struggling concerning numbers and finances for a number of reasons. Please ignore the post that put the blame on you. When somebody like you shares his or her heart we need to reach out in love and encouragement. Some of the most loyal, giving, and sincere pastors I know lead very small churches. |

We're seeing some of both, but then again, this is Miami....so it's almost a different country. Of course our desire is to reach the unsaved, and I believe we've been fairly successful with that, but any growing church is going to have transfer growth for sure. |
