Question: If God reveals that someone will die on December 20th... |
Aaron Scott |
does that mean that Jesus CANNOT return until that happens? (Let's assume this is a Christian.)
Basically, if someone gives a prophecy that, say, Trump will be reelected in 2020, does that mean that the Lord cannot return before then (I am assuming, of course, that if Jesus returns, there won't be a presidential election)? |

I don't know, there's a good chance that Trump would still be here and that there will be plenty of voters left to have an election. However, if the Christians are "caught away", I'm sure the democrats will win.

PS There's a good chance the assemblies will continue. |

Well there’s this... |

1 Sam 23:9 Now David knew that Saul was plotting evil against him; so he said to Abiathar the priest, “Bring the ephod here.†10Then David said, “O LORD God of Israel, Your servant has heard for certain that Saul is seeking to come to Keilah to destroy the city on my account. 11“Will the men of Keilah surrender me into his hand? Will Saul come down just as Your servant has heard? O LORD God of Israel, I pray, tell Your servant.†And the LORD said, “He will come down.†12Then David said, “Will the men of Keilah surrender me and my men into the hand of Saul?†And the LORD said, “They will surrender you.†13Then David and his men, about six hundred, arose and departed from Keilah, and they went wherever they could go. When it was told Saul that David had escaped from Keilah, he gave up the pursuit. 14David stayed in the wilderness in the strongholds, and remained in the hill country in the wilderness of Ziph. And Saul sought him every day, but God did not deliver him into his hand. NASB |

I really don't know.
But the bigger question for me is:
Aaron, if the Lord returns on December 20th of this year, would you be willing to preach a Christmas message at our church on Sunday, December 23rd?
Thanks. |

Aaron, All that is covered in the small print, caveats and the understood condition, 'IF HE DOESN'T ARRIVE with the Trumpet first.'
Go ahead and take that preaching engagement From Tom but ask for the honorarium two weeks in advance. _________________ Some facts but mostly just my opinion!

I don't claim to know much about end times prophecy, but even if Jesus were to come back prior to that date, but it's my understanding that the world is going to go on without those who are raptured. So no, I don't think someone prophesying something about a date means He cannot return. _________________ "More of Him...less of me."

Nicely done.
Aaron thanks for the easy pitch across the middle.
Tom thanks for knocking it out of the park. _________________ Whether you like it or not, learn to love it, because its the best thing going today! |

I'd say there's a good chance he'll be there. |

Have you ever felt like you were the only one going to heaven? |
Aaron Scott |
Me, too!
The best thing about this is that I will no longer have to put up with OTCP or Tom Sterbens.
It will truly be heaven! |

No...but I've been convinced that I might be the only one NOT going to Heaven a time or two in my teenage years. |

I think Jesus returning and the trump sounding would trump Trump’s 2010 election. See what I did there? |
