Post A divinity student named Fiddle Link
"A divinity student named Fiddle
Refused to receive his degree
He said, "It's bad enough to be Fiddle
without being Fiddle, DD."

I got that from Jon Ruthven. I'm not sure where he got it.

The DD, Doctor of Divinity, is an honorary doctorate. Ats why ole Fiddle didn't want it. So, knowin at, it could read:

A divinity student named Fiddle
Workin on his PhD
Refused an honorary doctorate
Sayin, I'll not be known as Fiddle, DD

Not wanting to be known as DD
(Even though the title was free)
He applied with the clerk
And did the hard work
And earned himself a degree.

Post Here's mine. Aaron Scott
A divinity student named Fiddle
Gladly accepted his degree.
For though it was only honorary,
he wanted to stick it to OTCP.

Having stuck it to OTCP
Fiddle was proud as proud could be
He applied for a job
as an academic snob
But was told he had a pretend degree

The DD named Fiddle
Went looking for college jobs.
"Though your ability is far superior,
we must hold your degree as inferior,
since it would create angst for us academic snobs."

Fiddle was accredited by his buddy
whose school was a shack in Kentucky
His view of theology
was basically mythology
Because he had never needed to study

You fellers would make good rappers................... Laughing

As a 8th grade grad Fiddle's life was a wreck,
So when he saw the ad, he sent in his check,
No study, no exams, no dissertation, just a fee
Overnighted by FedEx, was Fiddle's DD

His trip to the Assembly was different that year
He was treated as royalty from far and near
As he touted his title, Dr Fiddle waxed vain
Until the question was posed and he had to explain

"Your dissertation," one asked, "what was its theme?"
Old Fiddle stood speechless, an turned kinda green
It was all life experience, I'm an 8th grade grad
I got more education than the PhD's have

Yes, the school was unaccredited, but they required a fee
An with many other statements he tried to justify his degree
The moral of this ditty as Fiddle was openly shamed
Don't ever attend a school that Aaron Scott has named

Yo, word to your mother. Shout-out to all my homeboys and homegirls who did the hard work at accredited universities. Peace. [Insert Acts Pun Here]
