Military ballots have not been counted. Plus, Alabama law requires a recount if the victory is by less than one-half percent.

I believe they are waiting to see if the military ballots sway that. I am skeptical of this many write-ins. Too much room for naughtiness.

it’s pretty bad when a Dem wins in Alabama. The GOP has lost its way. Friendly Face

GOP certainly not united. Most of their leadership would rather be in the minority so they can talk big about what they would do if they were ever in the majority.

Repeal and replace Obamacare being the biggest joke.

In this instance - they had a bad candidate. Hopefully they will see that candidates matter - not just the party affiliation.

The same lesson Dems should have learned in the last Presidential election.

We'll see.

The lesson for the Dems in this one is you don't have to prove anything at all to beat a Republican. Maybe in 8 years there will be a super majority democratic government with zero opposition. Whoohooo!

Lesson for GOP, rematch in 2 years, run a candidate that the party can get behind

In other words, run a Mitch McConnell clone.

No, run someone that can handle a STATE wide election. We have some very good congressmen that would make excellent senators. Shelby will be retiring soon as well.

BTW, point out where Mitch has voted against a GOP bill
