Here's another unverified story about a COG minister...I don't know his name. It was told to a COG minister by his daughter.

The COG minister was getting ready to go to the General Assembly. It was back in the 50s when the cars were heavier and not made of plastic like they are today. The kids were outside playing while preparations were made. Somehow in the chaos of his leaving, one of his kids got behind the car as he started to pull out, and he ran over his little boy. He picked up his bleeding, limp child and carried him back into the house, all the other children and his wife screaming and crying. He laid the child on his bed and prayed for him. And in his prayer, he said, "God, you said if I would take care of Your business, You would take care of mine. And that is what I am doing today." And he got up and walked back outside and drove away, still on his way to the Assembly.

His daughter watched him through the window walk back out to the car, and she said, "In that moment, I hated him. I hated him for leaving us."

But within an hour, that little boy on the bed was up running and around and playing with the rest of the children, totally healed by the power of God and the faith of a man of God.
