I think a lot of the problem is our modern idea that salvation is receivable by just repeating a prayer, that water baptism and baptism in the Spirit are strictly optional and ultimately unnecessary (as opposed to the clear New Testament pattern of repent, believe, be baptized, and receive the Holy Spirit). |

What would say to you that the CofG is no longer Pentecostal? If, in fact, only 1/4 of all active CofG members confess to and practice the manifestations of Holy Spirit baptism, are we Pentecostal?
