 Back to Work on Friday |

I had my gall bladder surgery on Monday, August 14th & will be returning to work tomorrow. I really have not felt too well during this recovery period and wish I had a few more days! It's been good for me to relax and have some down time. I haven't been back to church since my surgery, which is very strange for me. I hope to be back this week & am planning to teach on Sunday but won't return to the praise team till next week. My pastor has been very supportive and encouraged me to take it easy and focus on recovery, which has been a blessing.
Would appreciate your prayers as I return to work tomorrow. Just not feelin' it! I made myself get out today and go to the store. I usually have a pretty positive attitude and am really trying to get myself back in the state of mind to go back to work. I am thankful for my job and for this time of recovery. Also thankful this surgery is done!

Just take it easy and do not push it. We will be praying for a complete GOOD recovery.

I did OK, just very tired. I slept about 10 hours last night. Slept in my bed for the first time.
My stomach is upset today, so I'm guessing that pizza last night wasn't a good idea. LOL

Thanks for the update. IT is strange, there are times Pizza soothes my stomach and times when I think it hurts.
