I've got no dog in this fight, but I know Tony Stewart. I'm sure he and city life would make wise use of the property in question. But I'll not meddle in the things of dragons, for I am crunchy and good w/ ketchup 😱

But, wouldn't it be more proper to call a possible new CL campus something other than "west", since RH is located EAST of CL? I know there is already a CL east campus on Columbus.

Just thinking out loud.😇

I remember sitting there during the interview as different members in the congregation were asking AW questions and the answers that he gave expressed the way he has ran this church. This is no surprise to me that things are the way they are now. I saw the writing on the wall that day and new this would be the end of the church that I grew up in.

This church will never be exactly what it once was. The deep rooted members that help made the church and choir what it use to be have moved on or passed away.

I believe with the right pastor the church could still turn around but not with the direction that it is going now. The new members and the existing older members need to figure out the direction they want the church to go in.

The existing older members still want a lot of traditional style Pentecostal church which I am truly for. That is what I was raised on and that is what I am currently a part of now. What I can gather the newer members who do not know the history of this great church are more contemporary and that is what I see the future for this church if the doors even remain open.

Instead of this church body coming together and making decisions as one and the congregation having any input, everything is hush hush and things have been done behind closed doors and swept under the carpet with out the congregations knowledge for the last 6 yrs under this pastor and music minister.

Of coarse I will restate this still goes back when the church out of not willing to wait and hired CH 14yrs ago. Again, the situation with the current pastor would not be taking place if that start of the breakdown did not happen back then which has caused several years of bad mistakes in the hiring of pastors. It has been a span of falling dominos ever since Mark Williams left.

I still pray for this church that GOD would do a work and the good people there can finally get some resolution between both the existing and new members. RH will always have a place in my heart.

It was my understanding that Tony Stewart was the district leader for the Tampa area not Brother Robinson. To me that even makes more sense for City Life to take over this situation and try to make a go at it.

That is such an obvious solution if you ask me.		 Member

I'll be honest. It is heart breaking to read of a church that was an Engine and pulling a train, needing a jump start to even get out of the station. There are many churches today just a skeleton of the body that once was. Prayers for complete healing of this body! Cool

We have friends who attended RH after serving in the military. we lost contact, I do know they loved that church.
