Redemption to the Nations - 1,500 +
Redemption Point Ooltewah - 400-500
Ooltewah Church of God - 50-75 (Not sure of the relevance of this church to the discussion about Kevin Wallace)

I don't think it is a secret. Most large churches are built around a personality. Nothing wrong in that, our Lord was charismatic, he drew people. Our ministers today should have a spirit that draws folk.

I believe the result of a minister moving 'out' and many following him is not unexpected. I am sure admin would have liked to soften the blow.

I have heard most of my life that the COG moved ministers often is so they would not 'own' a church. I understand the Methodist still follow the same formula. Wink

RTTN is alive and well on Facebook. Looks like they are continuing pretty much the same without a blip.

Someone posted that the COG Kevin pastored has merged with another church. East Chattanooga?

TN...I think it is actually in/close to the Holy City (Cleveland). We saw signs for an exit when we were in the Cleveland/Chattanooga area in April.

I know where Ooltewah, Tn is, I just never knew there was another COG except Redemption Point there.

C'mon guys, Leave Kevin alone.

I happen to like Kevin - and I do believe God has anointed him to do a great work in the Chattanooga area.

If I could help him in any way - I would.
