I have a guitar I fell in love with today. An Epiphone Wildkat in koa. Beauty with a Bigsby. Great P90s, and man, does that neck feel good. It almost sounds like a hot Tele.

Now thats one fine lookin Axe... Is it heavy like the les paul? Is the neck thick or thin? Are you buying that?

I had an acoustic Epiphone and it was a great guitar. They are really under rated.

Well, a Messianic Jew who attends our church prayed for me to receive it, lol. It's $520, not affordable now. Good price but out of reach currently.

It's semi hollow, not heavy at all. Chunky neck feels perfect.

For an acoustic, I found the Epi Masterbilt DR500MCE...all wood, no laminate. Easy playing up and down the neck. That's about $500 too.

Post Guitars? Somebody say sumthin' bout guitars? FLRon
I love acoustic guitars. Used to collect em way back when I had extra money. Nowadays I have an old Brazilian Martin, a Larrivee, and a few others. Every once in a while I get to play in church, but I don't fit in with the rock band.

I really need a good acoustic-electric. I'd love to hear that Martin.

Post The Martin FLRon
I have a D-21 that was built in 1964, and yes it is a tone monster. Typical Martin dread volume and chest rattling thump. The Brazilian just adds a whole nether level of tone. Right now she's out of commission, needing a neck reset and refret, which I'm saving up for.

Back in the early 70's I played a D28 that was totally unbelievable the way the wood resonated. But I couldnt afford it back then. I have never played another acoustic that had that type of sound and always regretted not borrowing the money and buying that guitar. Hon. Dr. in Acts-celeratology
