OK if he wears it to a gay night club on Sat night but he should change it if he preaches Sunday Morning _________________ Sanctification is subsequent to the new birth |

Sometimes... |
Aaron Scott |
There are the Brad Pitt types that seem to be objectively handsome.
But for the most part, it seems the the men women seem to swoon over do not strike me as anything other than NOT overweight, say.
My "rating system" tends to work NOT on how handsome a guy is, but on whether he seems like a good dude that my niece or cousins, etc., would find to be a good, funny, decent, hardworking man. If I remember right, I've mentioned some guys like this to certain women, trying to be something of a matchmaker, I suppose, and found that the women were often quite turned off by the kind of guys that I thought they really like.
SIDE NOTE: I have a number of times found that a guy who was funny, articulate, and well-dressed, etc., and whom I was sure would be an awesome match for some girl that I knew, was actually gay. I guess my "handsome radar" and my "gator-dar," I mean, "gay-dar" are not in working condition. |

I don't see it. If he weren't famous, and someone asked me if he were good-looking, I wouldn't have a clue.

This would be a problem for me if I were actively trying to match people up. All I can perceive is whether the woman is good-looking. My wife has shown single American Christian men pictures of her Indonesian cousins on Facebook before. One of our friends who had never married liked Filippina and Indonesian women. If I were a match-maker, I might match up unattractive men with attractive women.
They say people end up marrying someone else of about the same level of attractiveness. I wonder how many of the unattractive men married to pretty women are the type who just can't tell if a man is good-looking, and don't set 'realistic expectations.' That's got me thinking.....I'm married to a very pretty woman myself. _________________ Link |
