Yeah I know. I think I remember him saying he was moving from MI to KY but not sure.
But anyone who retires from Ford and works for GM can't be right! LOL

We met String once at a church near Ypsi. He is a pretty good guy. He must not be here regular, I have read a lot of posts he would normally comment on. I do hope he and the family are well, and his Ford ?Truck 'ain't blowed up!'

He's run off to travel with the Darlin family from the Andy Griffith Show to realize his dream of being a great bluegrass musician.

He's around. Lives in TN now. He's in that area where the wildfires are burning, though he's not said his house in in danger.

Post I am........ String Bender55
Right here.
I have been really busy. I retired from Ford 11 years ago. I worked for GM as a Quality Consultant for 10 years. I retired for good in April. We sold our house in Michigan and moved to our investment property in Kentucky in May. We lived there for 4 months while we found a home in East Tennessee. We have moved twice in 6 months. So you see, I've been busy.

To answer a few questions for those who missed me. BTW, my heart is touched that you guys (OK, So I still have my Yankee accent) remember me.

1. My Ford Truck in in the driveway, and I just got back from Florida where my Son lives. BTW, I drove my truck. It now has 360,000 miles. I plan on driving it till the wheels fall off.

2. I don't remember when I last broke a guitar string. However, I have changed from playing my Strat to playing my Telecaster. I think I prefer a Tele, although I still have and love my Strat.

3. I still dislike Bluegrass.

4. We are safe from the fires and in no danger of our home burning today. Thank God for the rain.

5. It was nice speaking with you today famousflavius!

6. My strings are Ernie Ball Super Slinkys

7. We attend a smaller church in East Tennessee wher I play bass on the praise team. We are happy there, we can work and do what we do for The Kingdom.

God Bless you all!
String

Nice ride. Did you buy it new? The reason I ask is if you did I could've gotten you an X plan discount. Too late now but the next New Ford or Lincoln you buy if it's new let me know I'll get you a discount. By the way it's nice to hear from you again too

Tennessee Rocky Top will sound good in Music City bowl.

And my condolences that Harbaugh can't get his team into the Championship - looks like Urban aced him out again. So sad.
