Post It seems right, but... bradfreeman
We're drawn to, tempted by, the idea that our life is found in the knowledge of our good and our evil. The message that we need to be like God apart from God -- self-sufficient, self-righteous and self-conscious -- seems right, looks good and appeals to our pride.

It's a lie.

Believing that lie only produces curses, pain, toil and sweat. It puts you on the the treadmill of religion that wears you out and gets you nowhere. It curses, condemns, steals, kills and destroys. It bases your life, your confidence and your blessing on your own ability, strength and wisdom.

The life, love and care our Father designed us to enjoy are free. His life, favor and blessing are ours when we believe that. Let Him breathe that Word of life into you. Jesus is that Word - the Way, the Truth and the Life.

It's the Truth.

Coming to know and believe His love for you casts out fear and produces His life in you--fruitful life, eternal life. He becomes your sufficiency, your righteousness, your Life.

Have faith in God, not you.
