We had one that was supposedly out looking at other churches to get and idea of how to build ours , including Sundays , but in reality he was also looking for another church while on our payroll and expenses. Hon. Dr. in Acts-celeratology

Post THE LOVE OF GOD
After Assembly (which is NOT a vacation at all - hard work) that Pastor needs a few days rest. Those were long days and if he attended most of them, he is wore out. I know - we were there. Just my opinion... Friendly Face

Post I noticed the fatigue on our outgoing PB's face roughridercog
And how by the end he was using a stool when he wasn't speaking. I bet that he took a few well deserved days off. I hope so.

Is it really bothering you Old Timer or might you just be looking for a topic to create havoc over?

I am not sure there are 'records' kept of us Christians 'wasting money' or misusing what God had allowed us to have.

Does anyone really think our Lord micromanages some of our ignorance when SERIOUS issues such as Christians being beheaded in Syria and Libya await his attention.

That doesn't really express my feelings. I am really just confused. Probably another reason it is good I quit and turned in my papers.

Maybe the GA is different now, but I left inspired and ready to jump fences and top trees the few years I attended. What are you guys doing now that wears you out, and makes you feel BEAT? Your members work 40-48 hours a week and might get a week off. Was it really that tough?

That is not a snarky question, but serious. Embarassed

For a good many OB's the GA wore em out. Quite a few that the ole timer seen looked like they had spent many hours over the years at the Shoney's buffet bar. So, yep, it was that tough for some just gittin in an out a the conference hall.
