we need less leadership. There are too many figure heads in this denomination.

1. Eliminate overseers and go to regional directors
2. as much as possible make regional directors pastors of larger churches and those pastors are the new council of 18
3. Focus all dollars and efforts on missions, church plants and education
4. eliminate all side stuff that isn't really doing anything like boards and committees.

Lets streamline this thing. You could drive a 1957 chevy in 2016 but your gas mileage would really hurt your pocket book. We need to stop using the 1957 style of leadership. Its hurting our pocket book.

It does look awesome. Especially the one in the picture.

I know it was a typo but you wrote, "you do have a pint"

You just don't know how true that is my friend.

Post Da Sheik
I agree with a lot of what April has said. She mentioned regional overseers. I'm not sure how easy that would be in certain areas where the COG has a lot greater representation. I know it works in the West and Midwestern states. But it might cut down on all of the pastoral swapping that goes on. I wonder how much of a state AB's time is consumed with relocating discontented pastors. Acts Enthusiast

In areas "where the COG has a lot greater representation" the regions would just be much smaller, that's all. You did well to address the main focus of the post and not to get sidetracked by the Chevy analogy.
