Monte Ratchford, wife of W.C. Ratchford, passes from this life to her heavenly reward

In an email to associates and friends of World Class Cities Ministries, WCCM, Shaun Wilson, the new President of the international Missions organization, has shared the following notice:

Dear WCCM Family,

It is with a heavy heart that I report to you the passing of Sister Monte Ratchford. Although we rejoice in the fact that Sister Ratchford is now with Jesus, receiving her just reward, we who remain are saddened by our loss of a co-laborer until the day we are promised we’ll meet again.

Sister Ratchford worked tirelessly alongside Rev. W. C. Ratchford as a constant support and companion to him in their ministry throughout their 60+ years of marriage. She contributed significantly to the Church of God as the wife of Bro. Ratchford as pastor, State Overseer, and International Evangelist and traveled extensively with WCCM to various countries and continents around the world to work behind the scenes, sharing the love of Christ with all who came in contact with her.

Many of you had the opportunity to meet Sister Ratchford, as well as her husband Rev. W. C. Ratchford and their grandson Rev. Ben Ratchford as they traveled with WCCM to proclaim the Gospel. I think you will each agree that the Ratchford family has done much to enrich the lives of people around the world.

In recognition of the significant contributions and sacrifices Sister Ratchford made to World Class Cities Ministries, the Church of God (Cleveland, TN), and our ministry partner Harvest Hands Ministries, the Members of the Board have by Corporate Resolution declared a special Day Of Remembrance within the World Class Cities, Inc. ministry worldwide, to honor and celebrate the life and contributions of Monte Ratchford to WCCM and God’s Kingdom.

Please remember to keep the Ratchford family in your prayers during this difficult time.

Condolences to the Ratchford family.

PS, on a different note, I wonder if Bro Ratchford is still givin em "dry shampoos?" I member this camp meetin some years ago when he stepped off the platform while preachin, went over to where some folk with real nice hair do's was settin, an commencing to layin hands on their heads an messin their hair up. He called it a "dry shampoo."
