Before Jesus

All who came before Jesus were taking something from you...ALL.

"All who came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly." John 10:8-10

In Jesus was life.

Be careful how you preach from those who came before Jesus. Those scriptures were written about Jesus and for Jesus...and He fulfilled them.

"You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; it is these that testify about Me; and you are unwilling to come to Me so that you may have life." John 5:39,40

You can't find life in the old testament scriptures, you find death.
They testified of Jesus. He came to fulfill them by dying.

"Therefore, when He comes into the world, He says,
“Sacrifice and offering You have not desired,
But a body You have prepared for Me;
In whole burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin You have taken no pleasure.
“Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come
(In the scroll of the book it is written of Me)
To do Your will, O God.’” Heb. 10:5-7

He came to fulfill and end the ministry of death...by dying.
In the scroll of the book it was written of Him.

He died our death and was raised in our life.
