I read the title of the thread and I be like, "Who are Paula and Jonathan Cain?"
Okay, so Paula Whites newest husband has the last name of Cain?
Her husband advocated watching porn and she tried to spin doctorate to 'be educated within your marriage.' She contradicted him and told us what he really said. You'd expect some cold icy silence from the audience if not walking out after those comments.
The dude she married looked like he stepped right out of the 1970's.

Btw, I wonder if Paula believes like the garbage on the divorcehope website, which basically teaches people that divorce is okay, but putting a wife away without a certificate of divorce is the sin.
The sad thing is, that if you listen to her, she has a lot of good things to say, she gets good insights, sometimes, into the Bible, and she is a very talented public speaker. But the decisions she's made....
In the clips here, her husband thinks God told him to leave his wife before her. He's told the audience to watch porn. She tried to spin it after he said it. I just don't get why someone in her position would marry him.

She equivocates on divorce. Instead of the deed itself being a sin, its now a sin to leave a woman without any means, which obviously lets her husbands off the hook since she has plenty.
BTW, Jonathan Cain did step out of the 70s, he's the co-writer and keyboardist from Journey (Don't Stop Believin', Wheel In the Sky, Open Arms, etc..)...
Bonhoeffer predicted this outcome for the evangelical church, an age of Cheap Grace in which God only exists to satisfy our wants and needs. "Community without commitment" I think he called it, and what better example of that than Johnathan Cain "teaching" in church on how to have a great marriage. |

The lies she has been lead to believe and now I wonder if she still feels conviction over this garbage. If so, is this her way of doing away with the conviction by spinning it to make it believable. Very sad indeed. |

yeah Carolyn, funny thing about this net is DATES. We do not have cable nor good TV reception so I done a quick search for LIVE COVERAGE BLOGS FOR TONIGHT'S DEBATE. I got Live coverage for EVERY DEBATE except for tonight. LOL Even some from last election.  
I have friends into conspiracy theories (especially concerning Hillary) and I get things all the time and wonder where these folk were when this came out 5 to 15 years ago.
But you are so right, dating stuff is tough on the net.

Anyone who would seek marital advice from a serial divorcee and a rock-star needs to have their heads examined in the first place. This is the reason the world can't take us seriously when we talk big about "Biblical marriage".
Its like the local weather girl who was on TV giving tips on how to have a successful marriage like she and her husband of 1 year. (true story) |
