The Rule-or-Ruin Republicans (L) |
Resident Skeptic |
Quote: | Goals of the anti-Trump conspirators: Manipulate the rules and steal the nomination at Cleveland. Failing that, pull out all the stops and torpedo any Trump-led ticket in the fall. Then blame Trump and his followers for the defeat, pick up the pieces, and posture as saviors of the party they betrayed.
This is vindictiveness of a high order. (Pat Buchanan) |
And may I add that they will be getting plenty of shouts of "Amen!" from some on this very board when Trump is blamed for the defeat instead of the establishment.

Trump IS to blame for the division not only among Republicans but between us, our friends and family. He IS the common denominator. I have never seen a time in which so many are divided among the conservatives. He is not a Republican. He is a fraud. |

I won't blame Trump for a defeat at all. Its his voters that ignored the glaring fact that he was unelectable in the general election. |

As I stated, it is remarkable that more than a few do not see how the establishment is to blame. Had they represented us, there would have been no insurgency. _________________ "It is doubtful if any Trinitarian Pentecostals have ever professed to believe in three gods, and Oneness Pentecostals should not claim that they do." - Daniel Segraves UPCI |

You are exactly correct. He will be considered as unelectable in the general election.
But on the bright side the Trump supporters will now have a boogeyman, The Establishment, to blame. |

I actually agree with you here. They have it coming, but that's small consolation when we have to face the end of our Republic under HRC. But I still blame the voters who chose to cut their noses off to spite their face. |

You are quite right. And it shows the leadership didnot/doesnot deserve the salaries they are getting, paid for FORESIGHT not HINDSIGHT. FOOLS who show in the end they love to say 'I told you so!' And they will not know it is their fault.
However I am still hoping we get a candidate and a united base. _________________ Some facts but mostly just my opinion!

The GOP establishment is trying to get HRC elected.
They will pretend to support Cruz now until the convention and then try to shove another Dole/McCain/Romney down our throats. _________________ "It is doubtful if any Trinitarian Pentecostals have ever professed to believe in three gods, and Oneness Pentecostals should not claim that they do." - Daniel Segraves UPCI |
