Why would anyone use an unlicensed stranger to pick them up and drop them off places? _________________ Whether you like it or not, learn to love it, because its the best thing going today! |

I am amazed at how prolific Uber has become. Not only for the reason you mentioned but for others. One of my friends dries for Uber and the majority of his passengers are highly intoxicated individuals. I realize there are some who rely on the service because they don't have reliable transportation. But mixing perfect strangers with high volumes of alcohol is a dangerous combination IMHO. |

I think Eddie said he was qualified, had tested or met their criteria. He probably knows more details, of what is required.
I heard my son today say a back ground check and a car less than 5 yrs old is required. _________________ Some facts but mostly just my opinion!

Could it be ;
Quote: | As of 4/2/2014, 5,295 crime incidents had occurred in a taxicab since 2001, i.e. more than a crime a day during that time.1 Furthermore, OSHA recently reported that taxi drivers are more likely to be victims of a crime than professionals in any other job.2 |

So the uber website is your source of crime statistics regarding taxicabs? _________________ Whether you like it or not, learn to love it, because its the best thing going today! |
