Post Some Movies Are Still a sin to see Cojak
Bill Bryson wrote an absolutely spell binding book, a best seller, called "A Walk In the Woods". It was the first book we read before hiking the Appalachian Trail. Loved it. Bill only hiked about 200 miles, but it made for a great book.

It was made into a move in the last year of so and we wanted to see it. My son bought me the CD for my birthday. Once I figured how to work our CD player we watched it.

The two starring actors are BIG names, but too old for the characters. The book had one bad word for some reason he needed to use the 'F' word once. But we all know Hollywood, the whole movie was sprinkled with profanity and not even close to the book. So if you are interested in the AT read the book, you will enjoy it. Forget the movie, it has some good scenery, but not much. But DO NOT waste your time or money on the movie.

Been there, it ain't even close! Embarassed

But right now, hey, I'm real curious as to how you figured out how to git a CD player to play DVD.

I watch very few movies for that very reason, it's not funny or entertaining to me. Acts-dicted

The first one he gave me was one of them sorta silver plastic things. But when I got the 8mm vs I had it made.

It was simple once I figured how to thread the film! Embarassed
