I understand that Cruz is running this in Iowa in an ad. It is from 1999 but still....

As long as he is not a pro-choice activist, I would not be too alarmed. I cannot see him blocking Congress or the States if they moved to ban some or most abortion.

Don't miss the point here. He is admitting that NY values are not Iowa values. That NY is much more liberal, which is what Cruz was trying to say. Acts-pert Poster

Cruz said it for a political point and now he's getting a political result.

I agree JJ, one of those things (I wish I had said it a little different) at least methinks this.

Funny thing about this, Trump has a way of laughing things off and saying, we all change. Very Happy

A couple of observations from the video.

1. It validates the words of Cruz. I wish he had said "New York Viewpoints" instead of of "New York Values." The term "viewpoints" would have been easier to explain than the term "values."

2. Trump's flip flop on abortion is a HUGE deal. It is obvious that he has adjusted his view on abortion for political expediency. The next president will probably nominate 3-5 justices to the SCOTUS. If he is not passionately pro-life (I don't believe he is) we could end up with pro-choice justices.

I am praying daily that people will see Donald Trump for the incompetent farce that he is.

NY Values and NYC values are big difference. Until I traveled in rural NY I never realized there were any Red Necks up north. Come to find out ther are plenty nice guys, shade tree mechanics, and helpful souls out there.

Now in NYC I was cursed and fingered if I ran a red light or stopped at one, it didn't even seem to make a difference. Imma tell you them lines in the streets mean nothing, four cars easily fit in three lanes, mostly yellow looking cars. I will only go back at 2 AM! Smile

But what I am looking for in this political process is the the guy on the white horse with some morals. Shocked

The only surge he will have is a bowel movement. But there is much to be admired in Rubio. He has a future for sure.

Rubio has hurt himself in my opinion. Too many changes on issues.

Cruz is by far the most conservative of all the candidates in my opinion. Probably the most brilliant mind of all the candidates.
