Hmmm , it appears that you have a bit of musical knowledge. If the player were anyone else I might challenge you concerning a minor verses major.

After a second look though I think it might be a Bb minor. Look closer

"unaccredited docterate in music theory" ??? That explains it. A single note does not make a minor by itself even if it is a flatted third of a chord not played.

Yep, c6th is right. Notes by themselves can be flat or sharp or natural. That's it.
Like a banana peel on the sidewalk--if you don't see sharp, you'll be flat.
