Gotta love the fact that honesty is a hallmark of Creflo's ministry.

At least we know what Christ's death means to him.

When has he ever hidden it?

How do you spell false Prophet? Oh my gosh. Is that his real last name? So appropriate. How in the world do people fall for this garbage? I am amazed.

I love how we tap on our iphones at Starbucks or type on our laptops in our recliners or sit our oak desks staring at our flat screen monitors in our climate controlled offices enjoying greater prosperity than 95% of the world...and say God doesn't want his children to prosper.

Do you want your children to prosper?

2 Cor. 8:9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, so that you through His poverty might become rich.

I'd say Creflo is encouraging his mostly inner city Atlanta, black congregation to believe that their Father wants better for them...or, as one Bible father said to his eldest son, "all that I have is yours".

Awesome point Brad - right on target as usual - Jesus was all about money and financial prosperity like Creflo - that was certainly what he meant by being rich. Excellent rightly dividing as always.

Do you listen to Creflo or just base your opinions on a single tweet?

How do you know what he is "all about"?

As for 2 Cor. 8:9...it IS talking about money...in context.

I think you just like coming off the top rope. Laughing Wooooooooo!

Fleece jobs occur every Sunday when new covenant believers are threatened with old covenant curses if they don't bring 10% of their money in regardless of whether they can pay their bills or not. Confused

I think that single tweet has many roots Brad. A simple question would be why doesnt God bless us with a "$2.5 million apartment" or a new gulf stream? I am quite sure that there are those on this board that are just as faithful to their church and earnest in their prayers if not more so than Creflo.

I am sure that he has good points but they seem to be interwoven with his lust for money. IMO

I been thinkin bout this tweet an was thinkin bout Gibson's movie "The Passion of the Christ." Its the most graphic presentation of Christ's sufferin an crucifixion I ever seen, an the movie no doubt only touches the surface a how horrific it really was. An Creflo teaches that our Lord, Isaiah's sufferin servant, "bled/died" so "we can lay claim to the promise of financial prosperity?" Fellers, the ole timer aint hardly got words fer such blatant self-servin error. This is the prosperity gospel at its worse...

It appears this tweet has been removed. I am almost certain I saw something on FB tonight saying it had been retracted but I can't find it now. At any rate, it's not on his Twitter page any longer. It appears they are in the midst of some kind of conference right now. There are actually a lot of good quotes there (not this one, though!)

And no, Creflo Dollar is not his real name. Google it.

Wikipedia says his name is Creflo Augustus Dollar, Jr. and that he was born to Creflo Augustus Dollar, Sr.
