I don't think so. just from reading. Evidently the pen name is the stickler.
Shucks, the priest would say: Do a Hail Mary, Go your way and sin no more!

This is one the strangest threads I have ever seen.

Cryptic writing
Quotes no one repeats but we all know
Arguing about stuff that will happen or not happen over a year from now
Stuff that will matter little to the average member of the Church of God

and yet I read it all!

Thanks guys, I cannot get that 30 minutes back Twisted Evil

Amen and amen! Thumb Up Very Happy Wink

I have only seen a few mention someone other than an Anglo-Saxon person. Why do we think that only people from America can be a World Missions Director or Assistant? I would fully agree with a Ken Anderson election. He lived on the Mission Field for many, many years and would live there now if the Lord would allow. Just curious to as why we only think in terms of the American to fill the position and not someone from another country who, in my opinion, would greater understand and know the need and how to best remedy the need.

Some of it has to do with fund-raising. And that is definitely a biggie. It has been a problem on several occasions in the past when GOOD men with very few connections to our churches stateside were elected. That issue alone has been a plus for Tim Hill and for Gene Rice some years ago. Both are excellent fund-raisers. Even though other countries are getting involved now (especially in Latin America), the majority of funding still comes from churches in the USA.

Really? Why a clean sweep? And please do not make a personal attack against anyone.

Post A real 'clean sweep' deltaman
Why don't we pray for a revival and a real move of God at GA. Perhaps a clean sweep could actually happen if men would listen to the Holy Ghost. Quit looking for the same names year after year. We keep getting the same results because we never change and never learn, we keep putting the same ones in year after year. As soon as women are granted Ordained Bishop status then you will see real change!!

How about:
J Stephens GO
Mike Baker 1st Asst
Kevin Wallace 2nd Asst
Bill Isaacs Gen Sec

Two for World Missions that really understand other cultures and are cultural sensitive! They even speak more than one language...........and have real earned Doctorates not awards......
David Ramirez WM
Grant McClung Asst

Asst: D. Moree
