Round 1 is clinched and Round 2 shows strong favor for Wayne Pyle.

Watch one last round of 30-second clips and vote for who you think is good enough to make it to the Finals. The Final 3 will compete for the spot as the next Capitol CREAG voice over talent.

Round 3 Participants
Lisa Foster
Brenda Partello
Kym McKay

Post Lisa and Kym...because Yo Dude
The both "made the script their own" by changing "it is" to "it's."

I was once the top subscription salesman for our location for a certain well known magazine. While everyone else read the script word-for-word, I made the script my own, making it sound natural...and not like a sales pitch.

Same with these ladies. The voices were not particulary distinctive, but the ability to adapt the script is a positive.

I had a very tough time picking between Lisa and Brenda. For me, it came down to who I could most easily listen to for 4 minutes and 30 seconds. That's why I ended up going with Brenda.

Lots of talent in these 9 submissions, though. It makes it very tough!

Mem,

Think this info from the first round will explain it:

Hi, guys. I'm currently working on producing a promotional video for work. The problem I'm having is that I've received so many great professional voice work auditions that I'm having trouble narrowing it down! So I'm hoping you'll take about four minutes to help me get through a round of choosing.

All you have to do is listen to the three 30-second videos below and vote for your favorite. Remember to vote based on their potential rather than if they messed up on this audition or not. The person you vote as the favorite will move on to the final round. The final choice will be hired by my company to make the full 4 minute video.

Thanks for your time and help!

I just got to this thread for the first time. Kym wins in my book hands down. Brenda and Lisa sound too much like they are reading a children's story book to a room full of kindergartners. They weren't bad though. Golf Cart Mafia Capo Famiglia

Lisa sounds almost like she is talking to a child and Brenda has an annoying whistle when she says anything with an "s" in it that distracts me. I listened to them a couple times to make sure. After further review, Kym also sounds like she's reading a kids book but not as bad. Golf Cart Mafia Capo Famiglia

Lisa voice was clear and slow enough that I could follow what she was saying.

Brenda's voice for some reason just really annoyed me right from the get go. In fact, I didn't listen to all of it.

Kym's voice sounded great and it was also very clear....but she talked too fast. It was like she was racing through it and I couldn't follow what she was talking about.

It was a tie between Lisa and Kym but then I chose Lisa because of being able to follow what she was saying easier.
