I think you should have added Assembly of God and Pentecostal Holiness and Baptist to the list. |

A Baptist pastor received a letter from one of his members who was serving time in prison.
Dear Pastor,
Just dropping you a line to let you know how things are in prison. I'm attending chapel services here and I'm overjoyed to tell you that here as well as everywhere else, Baptists are in the majority.
I'm also a member of the Legion of Super Preachers. Here I am in costume. _________________ Doctor of Bovinamodulation |

Of course, but it would be interesting to know what non-"COG family" believers are among us on Acts. I know of at least 2 IPHC, don't know if any A/G people read this. I think a lot of the Independents are former COG. |

I voted "Independent" because even though I attend a COG, I no longer have credentials with them. _________________ “Hell will be filled with people that didn’t cuss, didn’t drink, and may even have been baptized. Why? Because none of those things makes someone a Christian.”

I went COG. My credentials were submitted in the 1960s but I am trying to renew my NC general contractors license. LOL _________________ Some facts but mostly just my opinion!

I chose "independent" since the last church that I was a member of, a Church of God church, was restarted as an AG church for about 2 years after all of the COG members left, then somehow went back to the COG under a new name as a "mission" (plant) church. I'm sure they have somehow kept my name on the membership list there but in my opinion, that is complete fraud. |

My impression is that in order to be removed from membership at a local church, you either have to request that your name be removed, or perhaps do something really, really bad, like commit murder. |

I would be more interested in how many r pastors |
Dunamis007 |
Or former pastors. I get the impression recently few active posters are actually in the ministry or have been. I used to see people like travis and others posting fairly often but don't notice that so much anymore. OR perhaps I'm mistaken.
Happy new year! |

Keep in mind, this poll is nearly 12 years old. |
