No further news since Richard Sentell was arrested back in December of 2023 and made bail following. Even the AB, who made multiple live appearances on another “high profile” TN case occurring simultaneously, made no effort to clarify if multiple child-traffic, pastor-porn, family retreats events in 2023 were part of the "restoration process." Chanel 3 News told how Cleveland Police explained the investigation of former pastor:

Cleveland Police explain investigation of former pastor

Richard Sentell is charged with sexual exploitation of a minor and possession of child pornography. He is out on a $75,000 bond. Sentell was the lead pastor at Cornerstone Church of God in Cleveland. The church has not responded to our calls and the church's website was taken down sometime today.

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NMEC) helps find missing children and fights child victimization. They received a report of suspicious internet activity at Sentell's home. Then, the investigation started.

Detective Matt Landolt with the Cleveland Police Department explains their relationship with the nonprofit. “From there, we do a follow-up investigation. We were able to collect some evidence at the suspect's home. From there, we do a forensic analysis on that evidence," he explains. The department says that led to the discovery of a large amount of images depicting the sexual abuse of children.

I can’t imagine anyone connected with the CoG will have anything to say about this until the investigation is complete and the case winds its way through the court system. Even then I wouldn’t expect much beyond a short, formal response. Behind the scenes I have to believe this man’s credentials have been suspended pending the outcome of the case.

In fairness to Tenn Bishop - his statement said they hadn't been a Tennessee COG congregation for a while (but the pastor was still credentialed - and has been suspended)/ They were renting a Jerusalem acres property - but had also quit paying rent. So they were out there. Sounds like amess that anyone with half a brain would have left before now.

Sorry state of affairs. We in NC lost a good church because the associate pastor was arrested and convicted of Child Molestation or some other Child related crime. The church folded some members joined our church which is across town.

Somehow, an independent church, that once pulled out of the COG, is buying the church, renaming the church and bringing it back into the COG.

We on the outside looking in, wonder about this one also. The pastor bringing it in found his second wife on the internet and divorced his first wife. Shocked Shocked
