Post NEEDED - Executive Pastor for Families and Missions FG Minister
I am looking for an Executive Pastor of Families and Missions who is willing to live in the Mid-West. We are a church of 400 and this pastor would oversee all educational ministries of the church including AWANA, Life Groups, Children's Church, Youth Group etc. He would also oversee all domestic and foreign mission's programs for the church.

We prefer someone in his early-mid 30's with a bachelor's degree (master's even better) with some pastoral or youth leader experience. Needs to be outgoing in his personality and able to engage and motivate volunteers. The compensation is $65-70,000 (salary and housing) plus health insurance.

We are not COG but are continuationist in our theology. If interested, you may reach me at pastorsearchcccschofield@gmail.com

Just a minute! (TM)

So basically, you want someone at the age of Jesus, who had spent their 20s like an introvert nurd cramming 2 major degrees (in theology of all things) while adding on “some pastoral or youth leader experience” and developing expertise to “oversee all domestic and foreign mission's programs,” but yet remained outgoing…

To move out of their comfort zone into the not-so-Christian mid-west of nowhere and do every possibly and imaginable (risky and insurance hazardous) job the senior pastor does care to get involved into

And for all this, you graciously offer to pay $65K, which includes $15K for annual housing, so basically $50K in salary or $24.04, which is a quarter less than the average bricklayer (who does not have 2 theological degrees) salary in the United States

And when that person gets there and (having 2 college degrees) figures out what you’ve got them into, you would hope that they would stick to their dedication to the ministry and serve you faithfully until Kingdom come?
Just asking for a friend (who may be interested) ...

Right on the money. But if you will apply, we will add $10,000 for the Gift of Sarcasm with which you have so evidently been blessed. Acts-celerater

Heard it through the grapevine it's a good tax write off, according to Art Rhodes.

Post Where do I sign up? caviator
Sure, count me in. I am in my mid-60s with no college education, but have overseen several state works already while selling a good number of church realties. I am also very outgoing - every time we sold a church in OH, I would “outgo” with my whole team to a Brazilian steakhouse on the church’s dime. I am also used to receiving some $25K outgoing bonus every time I move to a new state, so please consider it when I decide to “outgo” this job in a few months. Where do I sign up? Hey, DOC

Post Thank you Your Royal Skeikness FG Minister
Finding qualified people is tough today. But we just found an AG minister who fits the bill. The full compensation package ended up at $95K and we are very pleased to get him. Acts-celerater
