considering Our Bishop shared a stage with someone who condemned Cog winterfest and the lives changed from it. I thought i would share a link to a petition to rally people in support of winterfest. i thought who else better to rally that support than to draft tom madden to run as general overseer in 2022 or in the near future . Not many have done as much for winterfest as tom madden and i believe he would do a great job in the overseer position.

We believe in the future of the Church of God, and few other voices have breathed life into that future than Tom Madden. I would like to draft Tom Madden to run as General Overseer. I can attest to Tom Madden’s leadership skills as being international youth director of the church of God and a successful state overseer. He has also been over large events of over 20,000 people such as Winterfest. In 2022 or in the near future vote Tom madden for Church of God General Overseer

Full disclosure Tom Madden has no idea i am doing this.

He would probably be humiliated.

Exactly how would someone "run" for the office of General Overseer?

Would he raise campaign donations?

Would he have a campaign chairperson and staff?

Would he travel around giving stump speeches?

Who would he debate prior to the voting?

Post I think we should elect him because of the great video game he made. Aaron Scott
That alone ought to get him a good number of votes.

Fellow, from what I know, Madden seems like a top-drawer candidate. He likely will be General Overseer eventually.

If Tim Hill is up for election, though, I'm pretty sure he'll be the one elected. The next one elected will likely depend on if Mark Williams stays at North Cleveland. If he does--and from all I hear, he is doing a tremendous job--then that might be Madden's time. If not, it might rotate around a few General Assemblies, but I'm thinking Madden is on the shortlist for most folks.
