That we do not know – this is how those lists are tabled here. The 2017 one resembles another list created by a poster on this board in early 2007 when the top 100 cogs were to meet in Atlanta. We only got blogger-like bits and pieces from that meeting, but as a result some mission’s money were shut off for a second time since 9/11. The 2017 list seems to replicate the 2007 one, though a decade later it gives a much different picture. Judging from several amounts, it is an average rather than monthly snapshot. I can only guess if it was compiled in connection to another meeting of top 100 in 2018 or was it early 2019?
Now, about the corrections proposed by bro. Caviator to the 2017 list – they are not from 2017, but from 2018 stats, hence the difference. Also, there are several churches that are NOT public information. How does one get his hands on them without proper credentials I do not know, but it is one of several leaks. _________________ Imperium centratus delenda est

I don't know if that last assertion is correct.
Not all state offices had websites back then and monthly stats were only in the printed papers.
There were blog posts even here how the original list was complied in 2007, but even then the information came from more official channels. _________________ Imperium centratus delenda est

I don't know where the 2007 list came from. I meant the 2018 list. _________________ "More of Him...less of me."

There is no "2018 list." It was brought by bro. Caviator while discussing the progression between 2007 and 2017. The original 2007 list came from here: http://www.actscelerate.com/viewtopic.php?t=22701
It was part of a TOT discussion during which bro. J.Stokes raised the idea that the COG is dying. This discussion brought about the 2010 meeting of TOP 100 churches many of which were on the list. Actually, 120 were invited, but only 80+ confirmed as we were told here: http://nosoytupastor.blogspot.com/2007/10/fwd-fw-atlanta-meeting.html
Common folk like us only got bits and pieces from that meeting, but soon GA voted decrease in TOT which ultimately affected missionary funding. All was forgotten and most of the related articles are long deleted. How information that is not freely available to all is being "leaked" at certain times is beyond me. _________________ Imperium centratus delenda est

I didn't think Anderson-High Praises was COG. I thought David Suster left the COG before he started that church. |

Anderson High Praises is indeed COG.
David Sustar does not pastor it, but rather his son Chris Sustar is the founder and pastor. David is COG, now retired, and, as I understand, attends his son's church. |

Surely we are more concerned abut people than money! |
I just read this, and think it is sorta strange that, Jlarry _________________ Some facts but mostly just my opinion!
