Post Pastors in Alabama Continue Worship Services MI6
Reports from Alabama are that many churches of all denominations have chosen to continue worship services and go against the orders of the Governor of Alabama. This includes Baptist, Methodist, Assembly of God and Church of God.

The are claiming their First Amendment Rights, the Separation of Church and State and unequal enforcement and application of the Law.

FM Broadcasting and Live Streaming is not enough for many of these congregations. "Forsake not the Assembly of yourselves together" and
"It is Better to Obey God than Man" is a consistent theme among the pastors of these congregations.

One pastor was quoted in s small town newspaper saying, " When did we shred the Constitution? The State does not own the Church nor does it issue a license to the church for it to operate. The police are not limiting the number of people in Wal-Mart, Dollar General and Target, so they should not be able to tell the church how many people can being in a worship service."

Another pastor said, "There appears to be very few pastor that remain that have the Faith of the Founding Fathers and of the Early Church Fathers."

According to what is being reported, the preparation for law suits are being made against the Alabama Governor, Lt. Governor, the Attorney General and the State of Alabama.

Post here's a thought jimmyjon
Are churches and pastors "essential" to a community? When Rodney Howard Brown's church closed people starve. They feed 900 people a week through their farmers market and tilapia fish farm. In addition, many of their congregation has no access to the internet or a very limited amount of bandwidth not enough for streaming.

So, are we essential to our communities? Quote from Liberty Counsel " a question for the church: "Is the ministry of the church so essential that the community groans in its absence?" If any church is not that essential, then maybe that church needs to ponder what changes should be made in order to be the essential lighthouse and place of refuge that God desires. "
