Yesterday I received an e-mail from COG news of some kind that here on Acts someone posted that the General Assembly had been cancelled for 2020 I did not remember reading that other than mentioned about electons. Here is the headlines:

Doyle's thread on this subject, available at http://www.actscelerate.com/viewtopic.php?p=786506, is talking about the cancellation of the 1918 General Assembly during the Spanish flu pandemic. I have updated the title of his thread to make it clear he is talking about the 1918 pandemic.
If the 2020 General Assembly was cancelled, I assume that information would come directly from Bishop Hill and would be published widely through official Church of God channels.
No one should be citing Actscelerate as an official source for anything.   |

I think I understand, BUT the way it came across was that someone on ACTS had SAID that the GA was cancelled. Which is NORMAL journalist headlines to get attention. As I read it that was the impression I got.

Thank you for updating it. I had read it to be 1918 but the title was misleading. We don't need anymore rumors going around. Thank you again. |

It also seems Doyle changed the headline back. I haven't talked to him about it but I will leave it as is. |

I think I found out who is publishing the #ourCOG news thing. It is someone who was a member here and banned. I clicked on something accidently looking at it through Facebook and it sent a friend request, which I quickly canceled.
Definitely do not believe anything from them.
