When logic fails........
These are the times that try men's faith.
At times like this you will see many fingers pointing and a whole lot of verbal tap dancing. _________________ Some facts but mostly just my opinion!

The irony seems pretty self-evident to me. |

But Kevin, since you asked a serious question, I'll give you a serious answer.
My point is that a theology of kingdom people "clearing out hospitals" preaches real good in Shasta County but when push comes to shove all we have are the biblical promises of faith in God that we've always had. Laying hands on the sick, praying for them to recover, and trusting in God's goodness, mercy, and sovereignty. And that anyone who says believers can draw close enough to God on this side of eternity that they'll have the power to walk down the halls of hospitals and clear them out is a charlatan, because this is a great opportunity to prove the theology and they're not taking it. |

Gotta wonder what your motivation was to post this article.
It's full of half truths & misleading facts. Not everyone in Redding who claims to be associated with Bethel is actually ..."Bethel!"
“Through email communications, signage, and church announcements, we are actively encouraging health practices and precautions to our whole community,†Aaron Tesauro, a church spokesman, said in an email. “We believe that wisdom, modern medicine, and faith are meant to work together, and express the value for each in the pursuit of continued health and healing.â€
The highlighted portion should speak for itself.
Keep in mind the source you linked is the Sacramento Bee (currently in bankruptcy) which hasn't been Christian friendly in decades.
Also keep in mind my daughter serves in a leadership role full time at Bethel & I do get the chance to hear from her the 1st hand responses from key leadership as to what is truth & what is a lie.
Just like any school (Lee included - since my own kids have went there & earned their degrees I heard plenty) students will do a lot of goofy things & the school often takes the rap, so who can define an entire church ministry based on immature students.
With all the things we can post about why look for stuff like this?
Do you have an angst with Bethel & if so what are your confirmed sources?
Surely it's not the internet or social media.
