Ignitemen Conference

Is anyone going to the Ignitemen Conference in Lynchburg VA this weekend? 6,000 + men will gather in the Thomas Roads Baptist Church...

Because of the Coronavirus Threat, do you have any reservations about being in a close, packed setting for hours? I am having some strong reservations.

I personally wouldn't go.

I'm not concerned about anyone in my house getting COVID-19, or being at serious risk from it if they did contract it. However, my mother-in-law lives with us, and she goes to her parents' house almost daily to care for them because they require assistance with basic needs. We are locking down because we want to do everything we can to control infection vectors for my wife's grandparents. If any of us get COVID-19, we should be fine. If they get it, they're probably going to die.

Accordingly, we are planning to err on the side of caution for the next few weeks until we have a better idea of how the virus is spreading in our community and what can be expected going forward.

I just attended a similar conference with some of the same speakers. It should be advertised as an Ignite Men Who want to support Trump Conference for it to meet truth in advertising criteria. The spiritual side was awesome.

We have guys going if they don't cancel it. We're still going to our cabin even though Winterfest was cancelled. We'll be doing other stuff.
