If God repented of making man, I wonder if He has ever repented of saving some of us?

I speak mainly of NBF, of course. But it applies to all us. Hon. Dr. in Acts-celeratology

What's your line of thinking here? For instance, what sorts of things might make Him repent of having saved us?

My quick answer would be absolutely not. His grief at having made man in Gen 6:6 was in response to their complete and total wickedness. With the new birth, however, God has overcome that evil. The Christian heart will from time to time stumble and fall, but it is set toward Him and is being ever changed more and more into the image of His Son.

I cannot imagine any context that would make God repentant over His conquest of sin and death in the life of a believer.

Here's the thing with me, God saved me KNOWING (we believe) just how good of a Christian I would or wouldn't be. But He saved me anyway.

And, at least for Arminians (those who are from a nation near Turkey who believe you can backslide), who believe one can get saved, but then fall away, it means that God often has saved people who did not last.

I think I can understand the thinking, i.e. saving Paul he furthered his kingdom by leaps and bounds. then he save me, and didn't gain any ground that i can see.
but I am glad he did! Sorta like the little cabin in the corner of glory land that folks disparage. NOT ME! the cabin is all I deserve and would be forever grateful.

I know this is hypothetical and I am glad.... Cool
