Poor Leadership |

I was talking with a pastor friend who has had a bit ofa bad relationship with the AB. He said the AB would not take his phone calls so he sent him an email trying to extend the olive branch and asking the AB to forgive him if he had done anythings to offend or hurt him. The response he got back read: "I am in receipt of your email. Thank you." I could not believe it. How does a man call himself even a Christian not to mention a state AB. It is no small wonder that state is struggling so with such fine leadership. He may be promoted in the COG but he will stand and give an account to God. |

Sounds like it's a maturity issue |

The man has done his part. Now it's the other man's responsibility. Promoted?
Those who promote should know about poor administration and interpersonal skills. They very likely are aware of it.
But some times old boys are promoted anyway. _________________ Doctor of Bovinamodulation |

Reminds me of something a pastor here in Florida once told me. Seems the AB was never in the office when he called, nor would he ever return his calls. So, he drove to the state office and was waiting for him when he arrived at the office that day. Some times you just gotta go the extra mile I suppose.
As to the AB who responded so curtly in his email, maybe he was having a bad day? Not excusing his behavior, just throwing it out there. _________________ “Hell will be filled with people that didn’t cuss, didn’t drink, and may even have been baptized. Why? Because none of those things makes someone a Christian.”

Sounds more like a conscious decision at avoidance to me. _________________ Doctor of Bovinamodulation |
