Post Some historical context on Trump Resident Skeptic
As we watch the ongoing battle, it is easy to lose focus of what is actually occurring.

Prior to his election, elements within the intelligence community were developing a plan or "insurance policy" to use to undermine Trump in the event he actually got elected. That tells us that they already knew the polls were rigged and that a Trump victory was actually likely.

The "insurance policy" was a phony dossier, paid for by the Clinton campaign, that included a report of Trump paying prostitutes to urinate on a hotel bed in Moscow where the Clintons had supposedly stayed. The FBI leaked the story about the Dossier, and then went to a FISA judge, not telling the judge of the true origins of the document. Obviously, the judge was mislead into believing this was legitimate intelligence rather than purchased opposition research.

All of this is also designed to distract from Clinton crimes, including the Comey-Lynch plot to exonerate Clinton for her illegal private servers. Knowing that Trump would have little choice but to fire Comey, Robert Muller was waiting in the wings to spin Comey's firing as "obstruction of justice".

Understanding the Swamp of which they are a part, the "deep state" figured most in the GOP would look the other way and allow Trump to be railroaded, and they were right. As much as Trump and his base would like to fulfill his campaign promises, most of these cannot be done without the help of Congress. But Congress, including the GOP, has no interest in making America great again or stopping the invasion from the third world.

Only the States, by bypassing the Federal Government and invoking Article V of the Constitution, can save our freedoms. Sadly, most States are run by politicians who are using their positions as stepping stones for Federal office, where they hope to have their turn at the hog trough.

I am a historian. History has proven that great empires come and go. The USA is no exception. Some remnant of a constitutional republic will remain in the North American continent. The left is too incompetent to set up a unified communist state from sea to shining sea. But this will come about through a very chaotic period which is swiftly approaching. Understand that the left will continue to attempt to equate Bible Christianity to Nazism and white supremacy. Facts do not matter to these people. To them, being "morally correct" is more important to them than being "factually correct".

Fasten your seat belts. Be sober and vigilant. It will be Christian statesmen who save any remnant of the republic.

I think you've got it. Wasps, especially Evangelical wasps are the the problem and have become the punching bag of the left. We are automatically assumed to be misogynist, racist and fascists, intolerant homophobes to be sure. While all around us the ones calling us the names are in fact guilty of worse towards our beliefs. Look at what they tried to do to Karen Pence last week.

As to Trump i say, keep up the good work.
